Nothing and everything in a flash it seems

The void and the glow

Of dust and ancient shadows

A thousand memories

Of lives destroyed for the reason of time

And I watch as it passes

Before my eyes that also turn to dust before time

That which existed before time

This universal soul

This ocean of souls within

Without this corporeal lie

I see in and through

Wondrous and inconceivable trials

A gulf of souls

To a land of void

Absent to answers

Dimensions and contradictions

Wind whispers inside the womb

It says absorb and treasure each moment

On your way to the tomb

All this and the space between

Means more than anything

You believe yourself to be saved

You’re drenched in piss and wine

Masked by your own contempt

You swim like the swine

Bleeder, you fool, you’re blind

Ignorant to your own demise

You take another step and sink into the mire

Drown in the suffocation

Through your words that grasp your throat

Seek the deep but bleed to me

And reap all that you sow

Teach me your downfalls

Teach me all you could never embrace

Teach me to struggle without purpose

Teach me to worship and praise

Teach me to lie finally with a straight face

Trembling

This trembling

An inkling to something pre-known

My body shakes

Something revealed to the soul

Awakening, ripening, blistering

I overflow

And you open this door, I know

Someway, somehow

Someday seen before becomes now

My soul trembles

Fear and anxiety overcome

Weighted by words to come

And only the time reveals

What in the past, was concealed

Some connection to

Moments bleeding through

Lived and died

Soul stirred inside

Piercing eyes

Wait, don’t question why
